  If only JDubs were truthful with their Bible students

  jdubs are the masters of deception.

  what would you do if you were studying with the jdubs and they told you that when you get the truth, become a jdub, and join the borg that every single person in the world is bad association?

  in fact, you will have to be careful because even some in the congregation can also be bad association and you have to be careful around them if they have too much facial hair or if the sisters' skirts are a little too short or if the brother pants are a little too tight.. and you will find such delight in not dwelling upon the life that you have now which is unimportant because this system of things is going to be destroyed so there is no need to get a good education or to worry about your problems.. you just need to focus on the paradise earth that is just around the corner..

  she didn't want us to go in the ugly vintage station wagon together so she carpooled with her friends, so i'm going dressed as one of the wurzels on a raleigh rally.

  oo-arr oo-arr.. the org is robbing us of time together, so i have a right to crash the parties she goes to.. if anyone has any judgments, at least i came carbon neutral..

  Cool, how many km's away ? You really wearing a suit ? Hope it's not too hot drink up and fill that water bottle hehe. Old cars are cool, I drive an assortment of older VW diesel Jetta's and a 20 year old lifted 4Runner. Good times. Fun being an odd fit I love it. Went to the hall a couple times back then in my former lifted Toyota 4X4 pick-up with 33" mud terrain tires in true red neck style. Would also make a point of going in service with my noisy smelly dropped aforementioned MK2 Jetta's. Having a car full of JW's was not a worry, people would stay away. This to the ire of the well to do, brothers with their clean freshly waxed 4 door late model service cars. Being single never married was once asked if I was gay, then told I would of made a good priest. Oh and up yours WT

  Are they clones?

  anyone else notice this about jw public speakers.

  they all seem like clones.

  they have the same mannerisms, try to use the same style of speaking, similar jokes, etc.

  Barf, I picked up on the WT Newspeak in the early nineties when I was just a return visit. This MS would drag along another brother on his magazine route and give me this un-natural robotic presentation. I once turned to the other guy that seemed more normal and gave him a WTF ? expression. Cult speak never sat well with me and tried my best to avoid it, although when fully in who knows what I was capable of..

  Tacoma Dome regional conventions

  this is the spot where most of washington state and even parts of oregon have had thier regional conventions.

  there would be as many as 4 conventions during the summer.

  this year none.

  Bingo JakeM2012, and as a matter of fact an elder involved in accounting woke up and left on account of this. I think he was DF'ed for not looking the other way and doing the company line. He contacted the city and tipped them off. Integrity and honesty is not a WT strong suit.

  Receiving so much hate recently....

  well, as you all know, my wife (unstuck) and i are not df or da.. we just stopped attending several years back after my "apostate" online activity was found by a nosey employee of ours while she was working in our office (long story if anyone wants to know - it would have to be another thread).

  we never met with any elders - no congregation judicial activity occurred (as we would never consent to do so anyway).

  so our policy has been to be the same kind, loving, normal people we have always been.

  Funny thing, two weekends ago went mountain biking at the local hot spot, season grand opening the place was hopping ! I'm with two other friends ( we are senior riders in our 50's ) and on way back to the parking we were on the gas single filing and spinning up fast showing off a little ( good for the old ego's ) and I greet a younger couple in opposite direction that had moved over to let us by in the narrow singletrack. Of course I thanked them profusely and shouted out " bonne ride ! " as we passed. I noticed the guy had a white helmet on and the girl with him as being cute and friendly.

  Then later after having had a quick snack while BS'ing and eyeballing women and bikes we start off again and regroup near the trail head, still lots of people milling about.

  I then see some young guy in his early thirties biking back up and out heading past me all the while giving me this horrible stink eye to the point of being practically disfigured. I though boy this guy looks like my old young JW friend P.P. but seems mad as hell so something must be really pestering him !

  I look back at him briefly and thought hey he really does look like so and so but then thought better of addressing the poor chap due to his obvious bad mood. Figured I'd check out his bike as he rode by me to my right but only took a passing glance as it seemed like an older rig and didn't recognise the make, that and was busy BS'ing with my buddies at the time.

  Gut feeling was really telling me something again so thought of looking around for his wife to see if it could be him. Looked left and Bingo it's her ! Same cute pleasant girl as before coming up from the left. We exchanged glances and I drop it, decide then and there not to let them crap on my day and start off with my friends hooting and hollering, party time : RIDE !

  i didn't make it in time and saw it was my mother who never speaks to me.

  i decided to call back fearing something happened with my dad.

  JW World is one big F'ing competition on so many levels : Social, Spiritual, Familial, Genetical, Racial etc. Reminds me of going to the start gate at a local motocross, mountain bike event or XC ski race. Assess the competition, check out equipment, clothing and demeanor. Train with friends and gauge their strengths and weakness. They are nothing if not worldly bastards, all of them..

  "Demons" Living In My Brothers Gym Equipment

  spoke to my younger brother dan yesterday (he da'd about 6 months ago).

  he was telling me that he got a visit from our older brother the day before.

  our older brother was raised a jw but never committed, lives a full-on "worldly" life - smokes, binge drinks, hangs out with non-jws, but he's been studying for about 6 years would you believe?.

  went to see MOM for MOTHERS day and jw dad showed up

  i surprised mom with flowers and cake ,candy etc.

  she was so happy, i told her i was going to work.

  and couldn't see her for mother's day, she said she was just staying home,as none of my non jw bro's or sisters were taking her out for dinner.
